08 Dec 2021 - Bamako, 8 December 2021 - This morning, a MINUSMA logistics convoy hit an Improvised Explosive Device between Douentza and Sévaré on the Nationale Road 16, in Bandiagara region. Seven peacekeepers were killed, and three others seriously injured.
08 Dec 2021 - Bamako, 7 December 2021 - A MINUSMA Peacekeeper succumbed to his injuries on Monday 6 December in Dakar, Senegal. The soldier has been seriously injured on 22 November when the vehicle in which he was travelling from Tessalit to Kidal hit an Improvised Explosive Device about 11km from the MINUSMA camp in Tessalit. He was then evacuated to Dakar with two other Peacekeepers to receive appropriate treatment.
07 Dec 2021 - The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack perpetrated near Songho, Bandiagara region, in Central Mali on 3 December 2021, in which more than thirty civilians, including women and children, were killed and others injured. They expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Transitional Government of Mali.
04 Dec 2021 - Bamako, 4 December 2021 - On 3 December, more than 30 civilians, including women and children, who were in a vehicle transporting them to the weekly market in Bandiagara, were killed in an attack by armed elements. The attack took place near the village of Songho, on the Songho-Bandiagara road in central Mali.
02 Oct 2021 - Bamako, 2 October 2021 - A MINUSMA peacekeeper died today after his convoy hit an improvised explosive device in Tessalit, Kidal region, early this afternoon, with four others seriously injured.

11 Aug 2021 - The Secretary-General strongly condemns the attacks perpetrated against civilians on 8 August in the Gao region in Mali where at least fifty civilians were reportedly killed and several wounded.
05 Jul 2021 - Taking a piece of leather in her hand, Bachira, a Tuareg artisan, starts weaving an ornament that will be sewed onto a new colourful tribal saddle cushion that may end up decorating a home somewhere. Bachira is an accomplished leather worker. She is among 360 artisans in Mali sponsored by the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) to promote social cohesion and dialogue through traditional art.
08 Jun 2021 - Bamako, 7 June 2021 - Since the beginning of May, individuals with a hidden agenda have been regularly inciting the population of Aguelhok, in Kidal region, to leave their homes, pretexting that their lives would be threatened by the presence of a MINUSMA camp in the town.
25 May 2021 - The local transition monitoring committee, made up of ECOWAS, the African Union and MINUSMA, with members of the international community, including France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and the European Union, express its deep concern at the situation in Mali marked by the arrest of the President of the transition, the Prime Minister and some other authorities.
