Closure of MINUSMA

In accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2690, the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) closed on December 31, 2023.

Bamako, December 8, 2023 - MINUSMA today closed its camp in Sevare, Mopti region, marking the end of its presence in the central regions of Mali.
