Bamako, 20 January 2022 - Following a series of fruitful discussions with the Malian authorities, MINUSMA is resuming its air operations.

Bamako, 8 December 2021 - This morning, a MINUSMA logistics convoy hit an Improvised Explosive Device between Douentza and Sévaré on the Nationale Road 16, in Bandiagara region. Seven peacekeepers were killed, and three others seriously injured.

The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack perpetrated near Songho, Bandiagara region, in Central Mali on 3 December 2021, in which more than thirty civilians, including women and children, were killed and others injured.
