The Secretary-General condemns in the strongest terms the complex attack undertaken today by armed elements, against the camp of the UN Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in Aguelhok, Kidal region.

The Secretary-General condemns the complex attack by unidentified armed elements against a temporary operating base of the United Nations Integrated Stabilization Mission for Mali (MINUSMA) in Kerena, Douentza region.

The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the attack perpetrated on 10 February 2021 against MINUSMA near Douentza, which resulted in one peacekeeper from Togo killed and twenty-seven peacekeepers injured.
