01 Mar 2018 - The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the attack against a convoy of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), which occurred on 28 February 2018 on the axis between Boni and Douentza, in the region of Mopti, Mali, and caused the death of four Bangladeshi peacekeepers and injured others.

MINUSMA and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) released a joint public report today on human rights and the peace process in Mali, the product of monitoring and analysis conducted during the interim period of the Peace Agreement.
Despite the signature of the Peace Agreement, the report finds that the human rights situation remains of concern.

From 2006 to 2016, 930 journalists and media workers were killed. Thousands of others routinely face sexual harassment, intimidation, detention and ill treatment.
The Secretary-General condemns today’s attack against a convoy of the United Nations Multidimensional lntegrated Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), in the Gao region, killing three Bangladeshi peacekeepers and seriously injuring five others.
The Secretary-General conveys his condolences to the Government of Bangladesh and to the bereaved families. He wishes swift recovery to the injured.
15 Aug 2017 - The Secretary-General condemns the attacks against camps of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in Douenza and Timbuktu, in Mali. A UN peacekeeper, a Malian soldier and a member of the Malian gendarmerie were killed as were six Malian contractors. A number of others were wounded.
